Software:
- Entertainment Software -- a favorite game (e.g. Halo, Tiger Woods Golf, The Sims) or program used for entertainment (e.g. iTunes, WinAmp, PowerDVD)
- Productivity Software -- e.g. notepad++, Picassa3, MS Outlook )
- Plug-ins for a browser
- Special Features of your operating system
- Something else that I haven't included here.
Hardware:
- Gaming Systems -- XBox, Wii, PSP, etc. These systems can be connected throught the VCR in the classroom. They are limited to mono (non-stereo) sound.
- Computer Peripherals -- joystick, drawing tablet, scanner, [Note that you may need to bring your own computer since we cannot install the hardware on the computer in the classroom
- Other high tech "toys" -- such as fancy phone like Blackberry or iPhone, iPod Touch or other high end mp3/video/etc player; PDA such as palm pilot or iPaq, GPS system
- Digital Camera or camcorder and the software to interface it with your computer.
- Something else.
Other:
Some Technology that you’re familiar with but doesn’t fit either category above. Possible examples might be some specially featured stereo, DVD player/recorder, automobile computer or perhaps a demo of some useful computer skill such as configuring a firewall
In general if you have a good idea and it doesn’t seem to fit the description above, ask me and I’ll let you know whether it’s acceptable.
