Computing Sciences maintains its own repository of user accounts for students and faculty. These accounts are used to access the servers, applications, and services hosted by the Computing Sciences department.
Below is some information relevant to managing your Computing Sciences account.
Prior to starting a degree program offered by the Department of Computing Sciences a unique user account will be created for you. This account, which will be used to access all servers, applications, and services hosted by the Computing Sciences department, is separate from your University R#.
The format of your Computing Sciences account is your last name followed by your first initial and ending in a number. For example, if your name is Jerry Smith your CS username will look something like smithj7.
Once your account is created the details of your account will be emailed to your University email account.
